+1. I go looking for specific items only, but I really like to know I have several stores all right there to search through for type of item I’m looking for. I can usually find something.

You can have many more at your fingertips 24/7 from computer.

What is it to you where I choose to shop? I hate ordering things online for myself, as I like to make sure quality is good and size fits well. My DCs — no big deal, I order online for them.

Please go away. People need clothing for various reasons, obviously, and if they are wearing masks and following safety guidelines, what is the difference than going to the grocery store or Target.

People can responsibly shop.

There’s probably better selection online.

OMG really? I never thought of that!

Oh, PPP thinks little fairies pack up her endless Amazon online orders and deliver them to her front doorstep, thinking she’s not putting anyone in danger like those selfish Tysons Corner shoppers.

Unfortunately, Nordstrom at Tysons is not fully open — only curbside pickup and returns. Just drove past there today.

I went to the mall today, and Lordy is was Magnificent. There was about 10 people total I saw inside. It just felt good to be normal if only for a moment. Can’t wait to be free to roam when all of this is behind us. I’m ready to go back into the real world.

I have some Gap and Athleta returns from mid March - do you think they'll still allow returns after such a long time?

From Gap's website: Gap, Gap Factory, Banana Republic, BR Factory, and Old Navy purchases made between January 1 and April 30, 2020, have an extended return window through July 1, 2020. Purchases made on or after May 1, 2020 adhere to our regular return policies.

Athleta already allows for a one year return - you can try out things and then return after wearing as well.

Sounds great!

Are the main mall entrances open — and can you just walk up and down the empty mall?

NP - yes. We shopped at LL Bean today and did a lap around the mall. Pretty empty, except for lines at Forever 21 and one of the shoe stores (some new sneaker out today, maybe?).

I had first pick of parking at Nordstrom and walked through LL bean but I saw you could walk through main main mall entrances.

Was just going to ask this too.

Stores have been allowed to be open this whole time if they wanted to limit the store to 10 people. Most stores just didn’t bother.

Because it's impossible - you have to count the employees in that 10.

Np: not true - employees are not included in the “10” count.
