I've been seeing so many name threads lately so I'm sorry to add to the pile but I need some outside opinions. What are your thoughts on Audra as a name? Is DD destined to be constantly called Audrey?
Love it. Makes me think of tony award winner, Audra MacDonald
I also immediately thought of Audra McDonald. I'm of two minds on this name. Part of me sees it as classy and beautiful and part of me sees it as aging hippy. Do you have other kids? Do you mind sharing their names? I think that because Audra could go either way (especially since it's so uncommon), the middle name and sibling names will sway perception.
I immediately thought of Audra, the wife of Bill Denbrough in Stephen King's IT who goes catatonic. That would kind of put me off, since it's the only association I have, but it's not a bad name at all.
I think it's beautiful and I prefer it to Audrey but DD will definitely always be called Audrey
Very pretty name.
Makes me think of Mrs. Roper
I like it, but kids may tease her. Odd-ra.
Oh, I like that name. It’s very pretty.
It's fine, it's just one of those names that seems more like a collection of sounds than a name.
Agree |
+1 My seven year old niece is named Audra and she's a sweet, beautiful girl but I dislike her name. |
Yes to your question. But I am one of those people who constant calls Ellie Ella and vice versa.
I love it!
That is a stretch. |
