I love it. Some people will get it wrong, but not everyone.
|
| I have an Audrey, I love Audra too. |
| I love it. Also, i'm biased: my brother's wife is named Audra and she is just the nicest and kindest human being. |

Mrs. Roper on 3's Company.
No. |
| OP here. Thanks for all the opinions so far! For the PP who asked, we have an older DD named Cecily. |
| I'm not keen on Audra, Jenna, or Alexa. They all seem like modern, less appealing twists on more classic names (Audrey, Jennifer, Alexandra). |
I’m NAF of Audra but Cecily and Audra definitely sound great together as sibling names. |
Y'all with the Mrs. Roper comments are really dating yourselves. NO ONE CARES about a sitcom from the 70s or 80s or whatever. |
I've always loved this name. Went to high school with a Audra. Not sure why it appeals to me so much but it is a lovely name. |
| We have an Audra! She gets called Audrey a good bit but people correct pretty easily. Our son, Brennan, definitely gets Brendan/Brandon/Brian a lot more than Audra gets Audrey. It’s a great name! |
I mean, you seem to care a great deal about it... |
Thank you, Lisa (est. 1974) |
Ha! No, my knowledge of Mrs. Roper and her amazing muumuus comes from this newfangled thing called “syndication”
|
| I think it’s a nice name. Definitely ages well. I think of the character on Crazy Ex Girlfriend. |
Looks like a mistake. Don't do it! |
