Good chapter book to read to 4.5 and 7yr old

| my 1st grader is an excellent reader. He used to join us in his sister's room for bedtime stories but lately, he has been opting out to read on his own. I would love to find a chapter book that I could read to them that both of them could enjoy. any recommendations? |

Harry Potter 1-3 Ramona Quimby/Henry Huggins books Charlie and the chocolate factory The chocolate touch Wayside school books Boxcar children My favorite were the Ramona series. They are truly timeless. (Henry hasn’t aged quite so well with stereotypes, but Ramona is just typical childhood struggles) |
