When do you think daycare/preschools are going to open in MD?

| Our MD daycare asked whether we would send our child back in June, July, or August if they open - which gave me the first flicker of hope I've had in a long time. Hoping they will open June 1. |

No. They will be open just for locals with restrictions. Stay at home order is still in effect. |

I know. But he also knows there is no way of keeping non-residents from visiting. It's not like someone is standing at all the entry points to the beach checking driver's license. Plus, a lot of people own vacation homes there as well. How do you actually implement "resident-only" at a huge beach? |

All the hotels are still closed. Most people don't own property at the beach so even if some owners drive down, it still won't be a ton of people. |

Now that Hogan announced yesterday that the schools are closed for the rest of the year, do you think that will impact preschools/daycares?
DH thinks that our preschool will operate on June 1, but I was telling him the center director, assistant director, and most of the teachers all have school age kids. What would they do? I just don't see our preschool opening in June, at least June 1. |
