Wow. I just entered “Karp” and there’s a message showing Brad Karp of Paul Weiss was arranging meetings with JE in 2018.

Paul Weiss has a specific comment line on Karp. l don't know the number as I called the main number in NY and was transferred. I did find tel.# for the man who took karp's place and expressed my outrage and asked if they had a 13 year old daughter would they allow her to be in a closed room with Karp.

I think that we differentiate between the actual sexual abusers, the enablers and the image rehabilitaters. Not making excuse for any of them, but they all have different degrees of complexity.

The abusers and enablers should be in jail. The rehabilitators should be shunned, but they won’t be. They will just laugh about it at their elite parties.

The enablers and the rehabilitators need to be pumped for information under oath.

Yes. At the very least. And someone needs to get into their thick heads that they made a mistake. At least they should fear for their jobs, if not lose them.

The emails reminded me of the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing. The most successful cross came from Sheldon Whitehouse: he made references across Kav’s diary-calendars to correlate what Blasey Ford and Kav each said about social practices and what happened at that party. This can be done across the whole body of e-mails but it will take a ton of time. Lots of high-profile people have already been outed as “off” by years in terms of their last claimed date of communication with Epstein. We need to have some data scientists load and index the files. There are techniques for extracting people, places, events, topics and so on, and cross referencing them. It can also be used to compare between documents from the same timeframes, and as I understand it, there are duplicate documents which were redacted in different ways - these techniques could surface some of the redacted items. And all of it can also be loaded into a graph database to learn about all of the social networks and relationships and so on.

As I understand it there are now investigations, prosecutions and court cases starting up in several different countries. Resources will be put into some of this. More legal and political pressures will be put on people involved. More cracks will surface. More evidence and testimony will surface.

People need to go to jail. I don't care if they are rich and powerful.

Interesting interview. The guy is certainly well spoken, and I enjoy seeing some dissent and fissures on the right thanks to his ultra-Orthodox POV, but man oh man does he downplay the Epstein files.

Why would you post this here? Ben Shapiro sees antisemitism everywhere. Discussion of these files is NOT antisemitism. It’s offensive to the victims to have this lie trotted out repeatedly.

The GOP is covering for its own. I DO hope that the Dems take the House in November, and that they haul in Republicans for depositions and hearings - but ultimately despite the right wing wanting to make this about "Bill Clinton" and "Bill Gates" but none of the many of their own caught up in this it's actually more about a certain slice of the rich and elite vs the rest of us than it is about R vs D. The wealthy elites mock us and spit in our faces by continuing to try and cover this up. I say burn them down. YES, we CAN afford to put some of the rich and powerful behind bars, and YES we SHOULD be putting the rest of them on notice and significantly raise the bar of accountability for all of them. I'm still frustrated that nothing happened about the Panama Papers and so many other scandals. We need a serious change in this world - and if it means burning some billionaires and powerful people so be it. They are not too big to fail. Any ripple effect and fallout we can deal with. They can and should be taken out.
