I am figuring out some games my kids can play with their grandparents while video chatting. Their grandparents are not great with technology. So, an online game would not be ideal. Is there any sort of card game or board game they could play while Facetiming? I am especially interested in card games since we already have decks of cards. |
We just played Bingo with cousins from around the world. |
How old are the kids?
Monopoly has worked well for us, I'd have the board on the kids size, and just have the grandparents write down how much money they have. For little ones, War has worked for us. The person who has the smaller number can put their card in to the side. Stratego and battleship both work well. |
My kids have successfully played Sleeping Queens with friends over video chat. |
My kids are spread out in age (4, 9, and 13). They don't all need to play at the same time. So, it's okay if the games are better suited for just one of their ages. Games that work with all of them are great too. Thank you for the suggestions!

Guess Who (both people need a board) |
We did Uno. They also considered Head Bands, Apples to Apples, and they did some google doodle game?? |
Bingo and games like that (eg Karuba). Also dice games using standard dice, like Yahtzee and Qwixx. Print off player sheets.
Headband is also good. |
