| This weekend I made a delicious lasagna with fresh pasta sheets, ricotta, spinach and homemade sauce. I have leftover lasagna sheets and wanted to try a different recipe without red sauce next time. Maybe something with a bechamel. All I can think of is butternut squash and sage which seems kid of wintery. Would love ideas for a non-red lasagna. What’s your fave recipe? |
| My favorite “white” lasagna with bechamel is the NYT mushroom lasagna: https://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/12/health/nutrition/12recipehealth.html |
| A lasagna with a white bechamel or Alfredo and chicken and mushrooms would be amazing. Maybe pesto in the chicken! |
| Yum! I love pesto and also mushrooms. Thank you for the good tips. |
| I thought mushroom right away. Or, it being spring, maybe experiment with asparagus. |
That looks amazing!! I wish my children liked mushrooms. Tears |
| You could do something with asparagus. I saw a recipe somewhere for asparagus deconstructed lasagne that used wonton wrappers but noodles would work. |
| I think you can use lasagna noodles to make chicken cannelloni -- that usually has bechamel. |
|
this lasagna is my favorite- i use pulled rotisserie chicken to make it a little bit easier.
