Atlanta healthcare exec cancelled PPE shipments after he was fired

Anonymous
Christopher Dobbins, 40, ex-VP at Stradis Healthcare in Atlanta, allegedly broke into its computer systems, altered 115,581 and deleted 2,371 files, causing 72-hour delays in PPE shipments and complete cancellation of others going as far away as New York.

There should be a law that people like this are brought up on attempted murder charges. Georgia is consistently in the top 10 states in the country for COVID-19 deaths and his actions helped increase that.

He was tracked down and arrested by the Georgia bureau of the FBI. No word on if he could get jail time.

Hospital execs are scum. I hear stories about an area hospital group that make your skin crawl.

Same. Not all healthcare employees are heroes or good people. They are never responsible for their negligence and are fiercely protected.

He was fired on March 2nd.

He came back a full FOUR WEEKS later mid-pandemic on MARCH 29TH when the nation was shutdown to do this. To delete those files and put lives in jeopardy.

10 years in jail minimum.

Gee, wonder why he was fired in the first place [/sarcasm]

How could he have access to the building, let alone the computer files, 4 weeks later?

Its in the article. They locked him out of the building and killed his remote access login but sometime in the prior 3 years he worked there he created a secret login none of them knew about.

He logged in from home and the FBI traced his activities to his IP address.

In situations like this, it's best to wait for things to shake out before jumping to conclusions.

I don't approve of what this guy did, but please don't post things like that. It kind of makes you despicable scum.
