He was fired in March 2019 after being written up by his former job supervisors TWICE in the fall - in August and December. He probably didn't tell the new company what the deal was and having friends there - they didn't seriously inquire at the old company for true references.

Its in the article. They locked him out of the building and killed his remote access login but sometime in the prior 3 years he worked there he created a secret login none of them knew about.

He logged in from home and the FBI traced his activities to his IP address.

What was the motive? To divert the order to his new company or one of his new clients?
