| The fairfax county website says they will start notifying people today, 4/13. Has anyone heard? Our last name is very early in the alphabet (if even going by that) and no email yet. |
| No |
| nope. I imagine they aren't even open yet OP. |
| Not yet. And while I feel like this whole thing is unimportant in the grand scheme of things with everything going on, I am happy to have some normalcy by waiting around nervously for this email to arrive. |
Totally agree. Getting an answer on this feels like the most normal thing to happen in over a month. |
| Nothing yet - though I assume we will all hear at the same time. |
|
Is it being sent from the central office or via the local school? The message seems confusing. Our principal's email on it was also a little confusing, where we can't tell which party is responsible for hitting the 'send' button. Or whether it will be rolling and last during the week.
Though I also agree that this is pretty unimportant, yet the most normal thing to occur in the past 30 days. The nervous anticipation about something school-related seems like such a distant thought. |
| Our principal didn't give any information at all, which is annoying. Can anyone post what they were told? |
|
New PP. Our school also hasn't said a word on this (Region 2).
Anyone get any up to date information on this? Please share. |

"We are currently working to automate the notification process for level IV eligibility decisions due to school and office closure. We hope to begin emailing families using parent emails by April 13. Should that date change, we will provide an update on this page." The day isn't over yet! |
I really hope they don’t change this date again |
Of course I think they’ll wait til the end of their day to send
|
Or update the page with a new date.
|
| I'm going to say they sent our something between 2pm and 3pm est. |

We should all take virtual bets about whether it comes today, what time, whether it gets punted again ... could be fun!
In all seriousness though, our principal (also Region 2) sent a note on Friday saying that the results would be emailed "starting" today, implying it could be a multi-day process and that it would come in the form of email to the main applicant email on file. And, that acceptance would be done online as well and we will have until first week of May to decide. Appeals will follow an online submission process to an email address. |
