| I don’t have an official source to quote, but we were told that the emails were being sent by the county selection committee and not by the individual schools. |

Advanced Academic Level IV Services
The AAP office will begin sending notifications to families regarding eligibility decisions for level IV services for SY 2020-21 beginning on Monday, April 13. Due to COVID-related closures, Instructional Services has created an electronic communications system to be used instead of paper letters sent by mail. Parents will have until May 4, 2020 to accept placement so that we can communicate acceptances that impact staffing to principals in a timely manner. Letters for students who are found ineligible will contain information about the appeals process. The appeals process this year will be done by sending new information to an email address rather than by mail. The email address is AAPappeals@fcps.edu. We are extending the appeals deadline until July 15, 2020 because appeals cannot be completed until we are able to access the original files and convene an appeals committee. The deadline date will be reconsidered if necessary. From https://www.fcps.edu/news-features-and-events/news/coronavirus-update/coronavirus-update-daily-updates/coronavirus-4 |

They typically like to release info at non-office hours time so you can't immediately flood them with calls.
So, I would guess they announce at 5:00 or later. Sometimes they like to wait for a Friday so people can sit with the info over the weekend. But, if they said they are announcing today, I'd guess it would be later in the day. |
| What's interesting is the whole appeals process. I imagine they are trying to weigh limiting the number of appeals considering that the plan is to reconvene in July. If 30 percent get in on appeal, it will be a staffing disaster. |

| Just got email. In. |

Poster who said between 2 & 3 wins!
DC is in. |
| What on earth would people have to use to appeal during quarantine? |

| No email here. I guess rejections to follow. |
Are they sending the acceptances first or are those who aren't accepted just not posting?

| I haven’t gotten anything and I expect my child to get in. |
