OP here. Exactly. She’s not using public transportation. Just need to know what’s customary in this area for those who choose to provide a stipend for transportation.

I have no idea why so many posts keep being reported deleted.

As I said before:

I know a family that provides a $50 monthly contribution to their nanny’s metro commute. I know another family that pays for the nanny’s commute fully. And a third family provides a monthly unlimited pass (anything over 36 rides, or 18 round trip commutes, is free), because tenancy is constantly using it to go everywhere.
