I'm not a fan of the gold shiny dress but the other one looks great. I'd definitely wear that dress. It would look more current with different shoes, simething white. (I know, DCUM hates white shoes but they are more current.)

It looks like something I bought at H&M for $10 a decade ago.

The gold dress is at least fun looking. The wool striped one looks like something you might wear to dress up day at prep school if you wanted to see if you could get away with wearing a sweater and no pants.

Actually that's why I like it. It's less "look at me!" But has nice details lile the pronounced shoulders and gold buttons. It's literally something I might wear, whereas the gold one..... no. It's a little too concubine-of-an-oil-sheikh for me.

They are obsessed looking like 20 year old pornstars because they are desperate to hold onto their men who hold 20 year old pornstars beauty above all else. I feel sorry for them, to tell the truth

I had a similar thought. At their respective ages, the grey dress is fun for a girls’ night, but both seem choices seem a bit desperate for a family event (the grey one less so).

I feel so old when I see dresses like this. To me, they look cheap, like a one-size-fits-all tube sock. But it does seem to be the fashion among young women these days. I imagine when this finally goes out of style, when they can move freely without worrying if their dress is riding up or if their thighs look fat or if their legs look short, these young women will feel like they have been freed from a cage.

Well, Melania must be feeling vindicated having skipped Mar-a-Lago last weekend, and the rest of them should do like Ivanka and stay home given they were all possibly exposed. Lara did have to cancel her fundraiser that was going to be tonight at Mar-a-Lago.
