Smart guy doesn’t know how to find the score? |
Bullis still waiting for injured guys to return? |
I guess they both played undermanned. STA won 80% of the face offs so the fact it was so close was largely due to STA blowing possessions. |
| Maybe Bullis is over hyped . Losses to STA and Landon is bad |
| They haven’t been overhyped this season. They aren’t at their best. |
| Prep should clean slate the league this year. |

Bullis is ranked #3 in the State of Maryland and #30 nationally. They lost 13-10 to St. Albans tonight. It was a fun game to watch.
It was very physical and chippy game. Many illegal hits. Bullis was talking a lot of trash but STA didn't back down. I think both teams were missing some top players. An STA parent told us that one of their best defensive players (committed to 7th ranked Cornell has been out with and injury for at least 6 weeks). Not sure about injuries or players out for Bullis, but I think they have roughly 9 guys committed to D1 schools. I believe STA has 4 committed to D1. Either way, great game to watch. |
| Looks like it’s really Prep’s year. |
This comment certainly did age well. Bullis is not winning the IAC this year, especially after losing to STA. |
| Excuses, excuses. STA won fair and square despite some 4th quarter chippy play from Bullis. Go Dogs!! |

Neutral observer here.
SJC is king of DC until proven otherwise and someone in the area beats them. Speaks is the best coach in the area when you consider recruiting and performance of teams in last five years. Prep is very talented and continuing to play better team lacrosse. Their settled offense continues to improve; way more disciplined possessions in recent weeks than early season. Urick could actually be on the hot seat if they can't sweep the IAC this year. Bullis is talented but trending the wrong way. Their offensive possessions against Landon and StA had way too many shots from deep and poor angles. Gonzaga is Uber athletic but hurts themselves with really untimely bad decisions; bad shots and poor penalties. StA punches above their weight with a talented senior class and could get to IAC final this year. PVI seems to be the same old PVI. Lots of talent, no discipline, will get to VISAA final and lose to Gonzaga or SJC in WCAC. Landon is the least athletic I have ever seen them and pitiful offensively. No one can beat anyone and they play poorly as a unit. Their defense is solid but can't be asked to support the dismal other end. EHS with some scoring punch and a zone with a damn good keeper behind it could lead to a run in the IAC but hard to see them beating Prep. SSSA is scrappy but inexperienced. They are a year away. Top to bottom more and more parity in the region, which is good for all. |

Look, at the end of the day it's Prep and SJC. Completely agree that Speaks is by far the best coach in the area....if Urick were half as good as Speaks, Prep would be top 5 in the country. The amount of weapons Prep has, it's amazing that they're not scoring 20 every time out. Bullis, clearly the disappointment of the year....how do you lose to Landon and STA in back-to-back games. Gonzaga is solid but nothing stands out, and that's just not going to get it done game after game. IAC and WCAC are one horse races at this point....not even a discussion

I tend to agree with this |
Only thing I disagree with is that STA could get to IAC final this year. Is it possible, sure, but they lost to Episcopal already and will most likely lose to Prep next Friday. The team that looks the most likely to challenge Prep for IAC title so far this year is Episcopal who have won both their league games. |
