can you not just throw them on the ground next to your car after you load you groceries.
Be better people. I thought WF shoppers were more concerned about the environment. Guess that goes out the window in a pandemic. |
|
Seriously.
What on earth is wrong with people? Throwing gloves and masks on the ground? Are you barn people? |
| I doubt that "all the people wearing rubber gloves to the grocery store" or even a substantial portion of them are doing this. |
That is the part that bothers you - ok. There shouldn't be any. |
The last time I went to the store the ground was littered with these things. |
I haven't seen this even once. Where are you people? |
The part that bothers is that this is a one-off and in typical DCUM fashion, manifesting a seemingly mass social "problem" out of thin air. |
Target in Fairfax. |
Safeway in Mount Vernon. I don't expect much from the people around here though. |

This is Whole Foods.
Organic berries - check. Responsibly farmed fish - check. Gluten free granola - check. Free Range eggs - check. Own bags with Save the Planet printed on it (give dirty looks to those who don't) - check. Ask WF staff to take bags to car - check. Get into luxury hybrid - check. Dispose of rubber gloves in parking lot - check. |

I’m not touching my car with contaminated gloves. I’m dropping them where I’m done with them.
We have far more serious problems right now than a few biodegradable latex gloves laying about. |
You need to watch a YouTube video on how to take off and safely wrap gloves then. God help us all when doctors start leaving their gloves on the floor. |
You're disgusting and probably didn't wash your hands before all of this anyway. After you take back your shopping cart, walk your lazy self over to the trash can and discard of your gloves. Then open your car door, use hand sanitizer, and drive your nasty self home. |
Walk back to the trash can. Dispose of gloves. Return to car. How did you load the car with touching it or your groceries? What a quandary. |
| Don't most stores have garbage cans out front? Why aren't people using those??? |
