To all the people wearing rubber gloves to the grocery store...

ALso, can we discuss how dumb it is that people wear gloves to the store, touch everything, touch their purses, keys, door knobs, elevator buttons etc

And then get in their cars with the same gloves

We have far more serious problems right now than a few biodegradable latex gloves laying about.

You're disgusting and probably didn't wash your hands before all of this anyway. After you take back your shopping cart, walk your lazy self over to the trash can and discard of your gloves. Then open your car door, use hand sanitizer, and drive your nasty self home.

Are you for real? You're a PIG. Leaving your nasty germs for someone else to deal with. PIG.

Agree. If you can take your gloves off to throw them on the ground, you could take your gloves off and throw them in a garbage can. Same difference. Just need to walk a little bit.

And please stop touching your faces with the gloves and then touching everything in the store. Gloves don't work like magic.

I remember you from the workplace bathroom threads.

You can tell these people don’t work in healthcare. I see them wearing gloves...and then touching everything, including their face and hair. Gloves are like hands people. The moment you touch something, they are contaminated. You’re better off just washing your hands. And of course, don’t touch your face until you’ve either washed or used hand sanitizer.

The last time I went to the store the ground was littered with these things.

I haven't seen this even once. Where are you people?

I haven’t either and I’m in a NYC suburb.

Which is why I drop mine right at the car. I’m not an idiot.

In times of stress, most people only think about a couple of priorities at a time. They don’t have the bandwidth to do more. It’s a survival mechanism shared with every other animal species.

Someone is clearly bored at home.

I've worn gloves to the grocery store for the past month. After loading the bags, I return to the cart, go to an outside trash bin, remove the gloves correctly, and sanitize my hands when I get into the car.

It's not rocket science, folks.

Exactly. The cart guys are getting paid to pick up trash. We’re helping them and giving them a job! They should be grateful we’re giving them jobs!

They are busy santizing the carts. Do they need you to find work for them?
