What did you eat today?

I'd love to see what other people are eating any given day. The good, the bad, the ugly - it would give me good ideas about how to plan my diet better.

I'll start. Today I have had (so far)

1 apple
1 pupusa
3 mini veggie egg rolls
5 pieces of sweet and sour seitan
2 slices sourdough bread with earth balance spread

For dinner I plan to have:
Tofu with a chili-lime sauce
A stirfry of broccoli, red bell peppers and cashews in a ginger sauce


(I know there is room for improvement - I am trying to change the way I eat!!)

breakfast: yogurt
lunch: rice, salad and Korean greens with mushrooms
dinner: veggie burger

I need to go grocery shopping.

'brunch' - two sandwiches of whole grain bread; sunflower seed butter; far too much strawberry jam.

snack - a large portion of pommegranete seeds

snack - a handful of gumdrop thingys

dinner -- a giant portion of pasta: fettucine + peas + pancetta + parmesean cheese + a little heavy cream

salad

dessert of choc. chip cookie (medium)

I am 2 months pregnant, and ate:

2 slices of WW toast with peanut butter, a glass of grapefruit juice, glass of keifer, and half of a grapefruit

Homemade black bean enchiladas in WW tortillas

Snacks: dried apples and apples with flax seeds
Cheezits,, WW crackers with chili hummus

Dinner: chicken and sauteed kale with garlic

I know it is a lot!!

Rye crisps with some goat cheese spread thinly on them

Glass of red wine

Baked ziti with mixed green salad

2 lattes, a handful of Doritos, a lick of frosting.

I think I win as the worst eater of the day. Well, maybe not as bad as the 6 ho-ho eater

Breakfast: coffee and ham and cheese sandwich
Lunch: Tuna Sandwich
Dinner: miso soup and sushi

5 months pregnant here.
Apart from water -

Breakfast: 2 slices of toasted whole wheat sourdough with a little butter and goat cheese. Tea with milk and sugar. Meant to add a kiwi but was unripe.

Lunch: Pasta with a little bolognese, lettuce with baby tomatoes (olive oil dressing), low-fat yogurt with oats and sugar. Glass of 1% milk.

Snack: 2 slices of small but caloric Galette des rois! (King's cake - a French marzipan-filled pastry eaten to celebrate the Three Kings who visit baby Jesus).

Dinner: 1.5 Bangers sausage with pasta, apple with a little bit of melted chocolate.

Maybe I'll have another glass of milk before bed...

So all in all, not bad, except I should not have indulged in the galette

Whatever I succumb to before I go to bed. those ho hos are sounding good.

Me, I can't remember what I ate. Today was awful:

probably 3 cups strong coffee
leftover mac n cheese from pacling kid lunchs

some popcorn

rice with provelone cheese on top.
a few slices of battered chicken tenders

a slice of pizza and some chicken wings.

OMG no wonder my stomach hurts so much. NO fruit or vegetables all day.

2 month pregnant lady here again:

French toast (using leftover frozen baguette)
Chai tea (decaf)
grapefruit juice
keifer

spaghetti squash
sandwich with chicken sausage, peppers, broccoli rabe, and a little parmasaen, coconut water

snack: blue corn chips and hummus

dinner: roasted oysters, middle eastern pizza using ground lamb, greek salad, ice cream and blueberries

1/2 cheeseburger, greenbeans, 1/2 hashbrown patty

20 M&Ms

Egg whites and whipped cream cheese and chives on a sandwich thin
half cup of coffee with half and half

cup of risotto
1 oz of baked chicken

crust of one slice of pizza
1/3 of a 6 inch turkey subway sandwich (no cheese or dressing, lots of veges)
large portion of broccoli

2 glasses of red wine - so far

Nice healthy breakfast, nice healthy lunch, nice healthy dinner, then entire box of Peeps in one sitting. Darn.
