Anyone have two non-twins with the same birthday?

Chances are this won’t happen but my due date is my DD’s second birthday. Wondering how others have handled the same birthday or birthdays close together.

I have cousins (a brother and sister) who shared a birthday. And bonus - it was right before Christmas! I recall that they had a joint family party on the day but that each kid got their own party with their own friends. I can’t say exactly how they felt about it as kids but they are still very close as adults and have happy and fulfilled lives.

I have a friend who has a boy and girl 3 years apart. They end up having huge joint bday parties.

My sons are 1 day apart. It's birthday season for the week of their birthdays. We celebrate as a family together for both of them, and they have separate parties with their friends. Easier for relatives to remember their birthdays because they are back to back.

My brother and sister's bdays are two days apart. They always had separate family parties on their birthdays and separate friend parties a week apart.

My neighbor has kids only 2 days apart. I don't know any siblings who share a birthday and aren't twins.

My brother & I are 3 days and 6 years apart. The big age difference meant we always celebrated separately. My dad never has and never will be able to remember which day is which child’s. He has other qualities.

My cousins a brother and sister share a birthday 5 years apart with a sibling in between. I also had a friend growing up who had a brother 1 year and 364 days older than she was. They did lots of joint birthday cakes.

My brother was born on my birthday. I was a teenager and my mom was induced so asked me if I minded. I thought it would be cooler to share a birthday than to have them one day apart, so we're birthday twins. It's actually been really fun to have this thing in common since we're so far apart in age.

Yep. Had huge joint parties until they were 5 and 7, and then they wanted separate ones. May merge again at some point.

My mother and her much younger sister share a birthday. I think the 13 year age difference made it not as big of a deal.

My 2 kids had the same due date. Their birthdays are one day apart. When my older child was younger, he could not understand why his baby brother’s birthday was before his, even though he is older.

There was this article recently where someone gave birth to her second 4 years after the first one on Feb 29th. Thought that was cool - leap birthday twins
