Anyone have two non-twins with the same birthday?

However now as an adult I think it is very special and love my sister and I have the same birthday. I now have twins, and as result of my childhood will definitely make them their own birthday cake.

Was having your own cake all you missed? Your twins will always have to share “their special day”.

I think entirely too much is made of the “my special day” crap. Children don’t need nor should have elaborate birthday parties ever year. Have two with the same birthday would be a blessing for the children in our current society - raise fewer narcissists.

My brother, who is 5 years younger than me, shares my birthday. Growing up, we had a joint family party (usually with 2 cakes, but not always) and different friend parties. Maybe it was the 5 year age gap, but it wasn’t a source of problems and we always thought it was a cool thing to share.

My kids are 4 years and 3 days apart with birthdays in mid-August. Apparently I only get pregnant one month out of the year, ha ha.

My kids are June 19 and June 20.
Two years apart.

Joint bday parties until about 2nd grade. Then, when their friend base became specific, we did 1 bday party from like 10-12 and second kid's party from like 2-4.
Moonbounce rental for the whole day. Win-win (exhausting day for me, but really fun).

It happens a lot more than you think.

I thought it would be cooler to share a birthday than to have them one day apart, so we're birthday twins. It's actually been really fun to have this thing in common since we're so far apart in age.

This is very sweet!
