Omg spoiled brattola |
I was thinking the same thing recently. I think she had a kind heart, but man, she was bratty and entitled, and needy. I didn't like any of the characters on that show, but it was funny at times. |
I hate watched the show by the end because all the characters were the worst |
+1 |
Lol we were watching the marathon at 5am this morning because the baby was awake.
All we could keep saying is “Omg this is so bad. The writing is god awful. The outfits are just not cute. And why is Carrie wearing that vaginal flower on her shoulder when she sees Aleksandr and his daughter for the first time in Paris?” The entire show is ridiculous. The worst is that they are supposedly all the age of 41 in the movie!!! It’s just so beyond any credibility. |
It is pretty remarkable how the whole series was considered this big feminist break through and ahead of its time .... and in just 15 yrs, it has aged SO poorly. |
I am honestly embarrassed that 20-something me loved the show. - Now 40something and finds it wretched and painful |
I hated how the ladies behaved like the sky was falling when Carrie got stood up by Big (who?d been dicking her around for 10 years, why was anyone surprised?) yet barely blinked when Miranda (who was married with a child) was cheated on. |
Enjoyed it then and still enjoy it now. |
First two seasons were great then Carrie got to be super selfish and annoying. |
It is interesting how some shows age well and others don?t. I still see relevance in shows that were on 40-60 years ago, but some shows like SATC and Gilmore Girls haven?t aged as well in half the time. |
m Gilmore girls has aged just fine |
As someone who experienced infer, it sickened me when they took Charlotte?s previously compassionate storyline and turned it into, ?just adopt and then you?ll relax enough to conceive.? Did they really have to go there? |
^^ infertility (and obviously some issues with impulse control on hitting submit before proofreading) |
Never liked that show. Was in my 20s living in NYC when it was in its heyday and found it so annoying how many young women tried to pattern their lives after the characters. So many 20-somethings calling their friends "sweetie" and gushing about expensive shoes. Blech. |
