| My Sons team is supposed to travel to Europe during spring break, we are a little concerned. Would you let your kid go on this trip. |
|
Depends where in Europe to be honest. Italy? Nope. Sweden? Sure.
The flight is probably more of a concern than on the ground in Europe. |
| Spain .. |
| No. |
LOL what you think there are no flights leaving Italy? It’s all over Europe. |
| I think the main risk is they get stuck somewhere, which has already happened to people in hotels in Spain. It doesn’t seem like it’s a huge risk to young people health-wise. |
|
Leader of the Free World says it’s not a problem, duh.
You’re not willing to hazard your kid’s life on that? |
| Yes go. you will be fine. |
| Just don’t take them on a cruise. |
|
We cancelled Spain trip for other reasons a few months ago and I’m relieved.
Though when the entire club comes back w/ coronavirus I guess it won’t matter ....we will be exposed at home. I’d watch it carefully between now and then. It is spreading out of control in Italy. |
| No. We aren’t going. |
| All of my kids friends (rich school) are traveling all over the world over spring break. It’s not going to end well... time to home school |
| Listening to NPR now—it’s not going to be letting up by April/May. It most likely will be worse. I wouldn’t want to get sick/be quarantined outside of US. |
Wait 14 days before you send them back to practice

Traveler from northern Italy brought it to Barcelona. Spanish hotel in Canary Islands on lockdown from a doctor that brought it back from Italy.
Europeans travel frequently amongst nearby countries. I would not fly Internationally. My doctor advised avoiding International travel when I asked. |
