What team is this?

What does that matter?

I'm curious.

Some teams from Arlington are going to the Mundalito tournament in Barcelona.

They should cancel. That's ridiculous given the situation.

I probably wouldn't cancel today, but I'd be keeping a close eye on things and probably would end up not letting him go. If professional soccer games are being cancelled or played without spectators, surely a kids soccer game should be cancelled too.
And my bigger concern than actually getting sick would be the kids end up being exposed and quarentined somewhere or just not having a great trip because everything is shut down.

Italy had professional soccer games----only no spectators were allowed or present. They may close the stadium for fans and you can watch it under quarantine in your Spanish hotel.

ASA parents won't cancel because they are all scared of losing their spot on teams. They do anything the Club asks, even when it goes against best interest.

It's proximity to the huge outbreak in Italy is the problem. Lots of people that are asymptomatic returning from Italy and spreading it in Spain before displaying symptoms. I suspect, as is being shown, it will begin taking off in numbers like it did in Milan.

If you have a regular cold, expect the airports to pounce. Screenings uptick, even though it is now known to be easily transmitted by asymptomatic people---if you have symptoms of any illness---you ain't getting through.

Please have the courtesy to keep your kids out of school for 2 weeks upon their return from the hot zone.

and please have your kids wear those paper masks when they come back to school. I intend to walk the hallways of my kids school with hand sanitizer to do my part and protect the children. Its advised to wear hair nets and face shield to protect from infected droplets being spit and coughed by children. If we make this fun rather than scary the children will enjoy this and not see it as frightening. That said, i'll be asking the school board to keep any child that has visited or ever lived in the hot zone to be quarantined until this virus goes away.

There is now a travel advisory to Italy.

The problem is all of the people that will lie/not disclose that they have been to any of these places over spring break so they can send the kids back to school and they can go back to work.

And good luck find masks...

The government is saving for health care workers/front line responders. There won't be any for kids to wear to school...
