Rules in MoCo for Political Yard Signs

I would like to put a sign in my yard (which abuts a major street in Montgomery County) supporting my favored political candidate for the Democratic primary. Is there a rule about doing so?

Your yard, your sign is fine.

As long as the sign is for a Democrat, you're good to go.

If not, well, then let's just say I hope you enjoy having your car keyed and tires slashed.

Absolutely. Liberals are great believers in free speech.........as long as your speech is in agreement with their agenda.

Check if your HOA has a restriction.

I would poll the neighbors first. God help you if you put up a Warren sign but have Sanders supporters next door. Your Range Rover with “I Support the Green New Deal” sticker will get keyed.

You are deranged.

lol, this is why I live in an HOA. So I don't have to look at people sticking trash all over their yard.

Lots of MoCo that's Trump country. Potomac up to Poolesville and over to Damascus.

Unless you live in a neighborhood with an HOA.

PP, your not really worried about that. You’re worried that someone would disagree with your support for Trump, and might even say something, and that would hurt your precious little snowflake feelings.

In City of Rockville signs have to be before the sidewalk, they cannot be between the sidewalk and the road. Don't know about the rest of MoCo.

Ummmmm. No.

Conservatives don't get upset when someone voices an opinion different from their own. That's a liberal thing.

Conservatives believe in freedom of speech, even if you disagree with us. It's when you start stealing yard signs, keying cars, and other shit like that is when we get riled up.

Another poster mentioned a bumper sticker that sums up the whole thing:

CONSERVATIVES BELIEVE THAT LIBERALS ARE WRONG
LIBERALS BELIEVE THAT CONSERVATIVES ARE EVIL
