Of course you do. Look how you lost your god blessed mind over Colin Kaepernick taking a knee. |
| The only rule is that it must be for a Democrat. |
Conservatives should act out more like liberals instead of worrying about being nice. That's how you make change happen. Sitting around Leeds nowhere. |
This. |
I’m not very political. I see both sides of some issues and could be swayed with a good argument on either side. But I do notice this dynamic is quite prevalent. And it turns me off to the liberal side more often than not. |
ABSOLUTELY TRUE in MoCO or NW DC. Well, maybe just social shunning for you and your children... |
Are you serious? Fox News sheep are the most easily triggered people out there. |
I'm not that concerned that elderly Fox news viewers are going to steal Bernie Sanders signs or key my car. The worst I have to fear from them is them waving their canes in anger. |
You cannot have a restriction against political yard signs, it violates your freedom of speech. |
LOL. What a whiny baby. You are just having a tantrum because people don’t like your Trump sign. Nobody thinks you are evil, they think you are a jackass. |
This. |
Awwwwwwwwww poor wittle baby!! Did someone key your Range Rover because you had a drumpf sticker on it??? Too bad. They should've set it on fire instead. |
Yes you can, in an HOA. It's not against the law to have a yard sign, but it's against the HOA rules. Freedom of speech applies only when the _government_ tries to restrict speech. |
|
Anyway, to answer the question -- standard-sized signs, on your private property, are allowed without restriction according to the law. Your HOA may have restrictions, but HOAs aren't that common in MoCo compared to some other parts of the country.
What is not allowed is signs on _public_ property like the median in the middle of a road. People do it, but it's not allowed in MoCo. |
No, you can't. Not in Maryland. State law forbids HOAs from prohibiting or restricting the display of political yard signs within 30 days before and 7 days after the election. http://mgaleg.maryland.gov/2020RS/Statute_Web/grp/11B-111.2.pdf |
