I know fascinators look weird to most people, but they're kind of a "thing" in Modern Orthodox circles. Women who don't necessarily cover their hair during the week, will wear them as a nominal head covering to synagogue services and other religious events like weddings. I'm not shocked she's wearing one for a visit to Israel.

Back to yesterday. In addition to the questionable stripes ... how did she JUST have her hair done but still have roots. Does she want roots?

That’s what people are doing these days, keeping roots so it looks less harsh when hair grows. But it‘S usually more faded than this?
