best girls will try out for Capital
some will choose to try for Hero's and M&D Black
those that don't make it will be at M&D DC

question is if you get an Orange spot do you take it or come back to M&D DC?

That’s been a common question the last few years but it was Cap Orange or Pride. The recruiting for both is similar. M&D DC is a bit of a wildcard recruiting wise so would probably lean with Orange.

OMG, the Capital.flacks will not relent. Their ongoing teams are now ranked deeper into the 20's! It's over! They will be in outbracket divisions and playing in front of crickets. If they catch a solid in their 1st tournament they'll get annihilated. Not one good school will be wowed by an offensive player iff they score a goal every 2 games while their team gets 4 gpg. It would not surprise if they move their tryouts before any tournaments start so they can avoid people seeing the carnage.

This might be a good time to remind that there is just as good a chance they drop from here in this free fall than bump up at all. We could be talking about teams in the 30s soon. And Orange is a 50's-70's team! WTF!

The model is broken. The '28s confirmed it by going to Baltimore. Capital needs a reboot and to start developing younger teams. Until then, they have Capital hacks on DCUM flaming the next year's group of best teams. So there's that.

Heros and Black have been together for years, they are adding anything extra now.

Best girls go to Capital, leftovers go to DC. No way anyone would choose Orange at this point.

It's over buddy. The scheme to turn M&D DC 2029 into an elite high school team is dead. Your daughter may end up playing in the second best tournament on Live Love Lax weekend next summer if you don't come up with a new plan quickly.

The smart money would go with Orange over M&D DC given the Capital Orange recruiting track record. There would just be a much higher likelihood the club would take the recruiting seriously. Is M&D DC going to devote the same effort and resources? There is no history to support it, so I'm not sure.
