Alsobrooks wins! Hogan loses.

I hope froggy looking Hogan can finally look for a job. Mass deportations are on the way so there will be a lot of open positions across the country .

This race was never actually close. It’s a massive red wave, and alsobrooks still won easily.

I voted against him, but I hated doing it. I have a lot of respect for him, but I didn’t want to risk giving the Republicans another seat in the Senate and possibly the majority.

I really hope he’ll run again, but as an independent.

Even if he ran as an independent, he'd caucus with the republicans if he won. He needs to switch parties. He's popular enough he might be able to get through the primary against someone like Alsobrooks.

A state anchored by one of the most crime ridden and poorest cities in the country elects a Democrat to the Senate. Whodda thunk it!

I actually think if Trump loses there is a future for him. Most of Trump’s MAGA candidates failed (see the “red wave” that never materialized), so even if Alsobrooks wins, I hope there is a place for him. If Harris is serious about wanting moderate Republicans to have a seat at the table, he should be on her short list for some post.

He talks about “country over party” but can’t even bring himself to vote for her so that tells me he isn’t serious about it and he certainly doesn’t belong in a Harris administration.

And what accomplishments does he even have? That he torqued state spending on transportation away from blue areas towards property he owned.

Harris Administration

I’ll take things that never happened for $500, Ken.

How can you respect someone who hasn't voted for president for the last three elections?

Why should he vote for someone he doesn't believe in? People.just voting on party affiliation are plain dumb and many times have no idea of the implications their vote will have to them.
I opted out of voting for pres. because my opinion is neither Trump or Harris should be President.

That's an awfully poor basis for not voting unless you truly believed they were equally bad. And that would be an absurd position to take.

Man, how bad was Hogan that he couldn't even ride the Red Wave last night? Kind of mind boggling, tbh.

Not only did the Senate turn red, but we missed out on the better candidate because people feared this would happen. It happened anyway.

Maybe absurd for you but you don’t get to speak for others.
