Could the people who dislike the Trump women fashion thread

...just avoid it? I really do my best not to make political points, but honestly, given that you don’t like duplicate threads in multiple forums, there’s nowhere for a thread in which to discuss the intersection of politics and fashion. It matters who these people are in terms of their fashion. I get that people might think fashion is vapid and pretensions of making political and social connections to fashion might seem silly, but it’s real, and it’s relevant and I wish that Republican ladies who get their hackles up reading it would just do what the rest of us do when we don’t like threads: ignore them.

Funny, because if there was a thread dedicated to the “fashion” choices of Democratic women, it would immediately be called out for “misogyny.” I do love the double standards at play here!

They don't really bother me. There is always going to be a new fashion example to get the thread back on topic. Think of those posts as stray threads dragging off a bad hem job. And think of the holy grail--the day a bosom button pops and flies into somebody's martini!

DP. Please show me where this has ever happened, and that it’s not just some fantasy to justify your own bad behavior.

I’m a life-long R and the thread provides a ton [i]iof entertainment. In general, the clothes Ivanka wears are dreadful and I would feel the same if she was a D(as she was before her dad ran for President.)

Have you perhaps seen the multipage Michele Obama fashion thread???

I don't understand the reasoning behind deleting posts on the Trump Fashion Mishaps thread. Any jest is deleted. Any reference to Barron, no matter how adoring, is deleted.

As of right now, it is a 479 page thread. I think there is plenty to read without adding off-topic posts. I don't allow discussion of Barron on the site at all. Moreover, unless there is something of which I am not aware, he is not a "Trump woman", so any discussion would be off-topic.

Counterpoint: There is a nasty thread about Michelle Obama's clothes. I think it's up to 30 pages now.

It's not locked - it's just not very active, despite the valiant attempts of a few committed posters. Sorry your aggrieved narrative keeps failing, I guess?

Nasty thread? Are you insane? It’s a thread detailing the clothes Michelle has worn on her book tour and in public life since she left the WH.

The photos are posted only from good sources: her insta, Vogue, fashion sites, etc.

It has info on her stylist and hairdresser, etc.

How is that “nasty?”
