Has anybody seen this movie? It must be good, it's receiving all kinds of awards and has very high ratings on Flixster. Somebody tell me whether you liked it or not.

It was amazing. I went in cold and was entertained all the way till the end. Really good imagery. It deserves best picture but since it’s a foreign film Urgh. The oscars really need to widen its horizons.

Wow. Amazing. The characters, the imagery, the themes, and the twist. All very well done.

Really good. Great story and acting with a plot twist that you never see coming.

I saw it. It’s good but a very dark comedy which I didn’t find funny, rather sad. Also I didn’t understand the metaphor for violence- killing and stabbing.

OP here--Went to see it today. I thought the first 3/4 was pretty good, entertaining, but the end was just stupid. Disappointed.

OP, a similar film I enjoyed was "Knives Out" ... also worth checking out.

If you like the Korean film noir or thriller genre you will like it. Like, if you've seen Bedevilled or Memories of Murder. It's kind of like those in that the story is initially mundane but some rather unexpected and violent things happen. And they do like to mix in some odd dark comedy with their suspense and violence. I'd only put it at slightly above average for critically acclaimed Korean films. THe revenge movies like I Saw the Devil an Oldboy are definitely better, although more extreme and a slightly different genre
