Sometimes I'll see kids take another sibling/cousin to the restroom and one will go in the opposite
1) An 8 year old girl taking her 4 year old brother to the women's room 2) An 8 year old girl taking her 4 year old brother to the men's room 3) An 8 year old boy taking his 4 year old sister to the men's room |
I think it defaults to the gender of the older person in the tandem |
Girls shouldn’t be in men’s rooms because of urinals. Otherwise none of this matters. |
None of those are inappropriate but personally I’d feel more comfortable with any combination of kids those ages going into the women’s room. |
1 and 3 are fine. 3 should go into a stall
I wouldn't send an 8 year old girl into the men's room or an 8 year old boy into the women's room. |
HAHAHA. What? Americans are so weird. |
They don’t want girls to learn too early that men always get done pee on the floor. |
No, they don’t want to be in a position to be accused of something. Take the child in the handicapped stall, wash hands there and get out. |
#1 and #3 are fine. |
Yup. It always goes by the gender of the older kid. |
A 4 year old should be going in the bathroom with Mom or Dad, not their 8 year old sibling. |
Disagree - its good for both of them. |
Seriously - what? |
Women's rooms for all 3 situations.
Most women, except for the most extreme and most scared of even little boys, will understand. There are stalls, versus men's rooms where you have to see men pull it out. If the restroom is a single toilet with a door that locks, I don't think it matters. |
What is good about a 4 year old boy watching his sister pee? Or vice versa? Weirdos. |
