Kids today can't win with you guys. If they want to get involved, protest, be a part of their world, they're just looking for a free day off, and need to shut up and let the grown ups handle it. If they're ignorant of the world and don't concern themselves with political and social issues, they're self-centered and in their own bubble.

They only get a half-day. Sure, some kids will abuse it. But I think the lessons learned can be important for many kids. Maybe one of those lessons could be that their time would have been better spent in class. Who knows?

So did you meet this people or are you just spreading a meme? Unfortunately not everyone in America is great. That's okay if you can identify them and use your brain to make your own decisions. What are your thoughts on all the celebrities that said that they'd move to Canada if President Trump was elected and then never did? Do you think some one's word is important? I'm curious how you rank these meme shirts of 'I'd rather be Russian than a democrat' vs I will leave this country if I don't get my way.

What in the world are you prattling on about? FCPS kids can have ONE excused absence to protest. They can go to an anti-abortion rally or go to a pro-choice rally. You're so upset by this that it's causing you to ramble incoherently. Calm down.

I'm not prattling. Just curious why you posted the picture. Is it a meme or have you met these people? By your own statement, you seem to have more faith in teens you don't know than two people in a picture you also do not know. Am I understanding your position correctly? If not, please clarify. It’s definitely political posturing to pass a law like this. Showing support for a certain political ideology. The article even discusses how ‘conservative’ students don’t tend to protest in the same way.
