We just got a birthday invite for a party at our exact venue- for the weekend before. At least it’s not the day before, right? If you were a parent of a 5 yo would you be totally annoyed to get an invite for a party at the same venue for the next weekend? Now I’m worried I’ll be spending all this money for a party and people will not show. |
No, most of my kids’ classmates’ parties are at the same one or two venues. Sounds like you need to get your invites out, though? |
Annoyed? No. Stop projecting. It’s going to be fine. |
You picked a venue and so did the other parent. What is there to be annoyed about? |
Stop worrying that others will be annoyed and being annoyed yourself. You should be focused on getting your invites out. |
I don’t know. The parents at my kids school are kind of snobby. I was worried about the eye roll factor. |
+1 |
Do you often look for problems and reasons to be upset? |
Nope! There’s a finite number of party venues around here. If the parents are snobby...that’s their problem, not yours. |
I don't know, I think I would be upset. Did they know about your party?? |
It's ok unless it's seeing a play or something like that. If it's a bounce thing or something active, parents will love it because their child will get some exercise. Kids will have fun. |
But why would you be upset? I don't think that me choosing Bounce U for a party means no one else from our school/friend group should use that place for X amount of time. And what would that amount of time be? My guess is the kids will all love it. They don't care about repeatedly going to a place they like. |
Grow up. |
I use to own one of those of bounce party places. Wasn't unusual to have guests attending two parties on the SAME day let alone consecutive weekends. Some even Friday night and two on Saturday. The kids were never disappointed and the parents generally liked that they knew what to expect. |
Host at home and this will never happen! Problem solved. Kids are sick of pump it up and zava zone anyway. |
