Just an FYI. I was also not happy with Shutterfly. Of course I don't know if the others are better.
Can anyone recommend their go-to for photo printing? I used to have a wonderful Canon printer at home, but it died of old age and the new model doesn't do photos well at all. |
| Walgreens but they all suck. |
| I was once able to get matte prints from Walmarts 1 hour service that were so-so. The rest I've tried in a pinch (CVS, rite aid, Walgreens target) were horrible. |
| E cards! Cheaper and better for the environment! |
| Mpix. Professional quality |
I received a flurry of email holiday greetings today. Meh. |
| Maybe it’s the photographer. |
| I also like Mpix. |
| CVS was awful. Walmart has always been ok. |
| Costco. |

OP do you want to pick up or can you wait for prints to be mailed?
Mail is generally going to be higher quality. Retail outlets generally don't take care of their printers. |
| I have no suggestions but have recently been very disappointed in Shutterfly and snapfish quality (snapfish photos came out really dark and Shutterfly photos looked like they had a green/blue tint). I’m just talking about prints not photo cards. Walgreens photos always look a bit blurry/almost pixelated. Ugh. I used to print at a local store in my hometown that was great. I guess places like that no longer exist. |

I tried Amazon photo prints - add them to the list of awful printers.
I'll have to try Mpix. |
| Costco |
That’s how I feel about your photo card! (I don’t do either, btw.) |
