76/95 VA counties declare 2A sanctuaries

Things in VA are getting a bit wierd, 76 of VA's counties have pronounced that they will not enforce Governor Northam's new gun bill, SB16. In response one VA legislator has called for the VA national guard to enforce any new gun legislation, and others have called for legislation to lay off law enforcement personel who fail to enforce the law. Numerically of course, several counties have the bulk of the population, but it does indicate that perhaps the support for various gun reform measures is not as popular as polls might suggest. https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/474556-virginia-national-guard-responds-after-dem-lawmaker-suggests-it-may-be I really hope VA doesn't become a flashpoint for people looking for a fight.

| "sending a message" equals publicity stunt. Same as the those fat guys in camo that show up fully armed to Lobby Day and hover behind women in Moms Demand Action tshirts much like Trump hovered behind Hilary on the debate stage. |
