Anybody watch any of the ICC Futures games?

My daughter would have thought she was in heaven if we could have found a team in this area that played like that Barcelona team.

At the risk of going down a rabbit hole, Barca Academy in Virginia does teach this precise style of play to their teams. Of course, without good enough players it wont work as well as what you see in ICC.

watched the PDA vs ICC West semi-finals. really high quality stuff.

We did and were impressed. The style of play was so . . . purposeful. Not like what you normally see around here.

Not paying to watch young teens play soccer as amazing as they my be. I have seen enough youth soccer to last a lifetime!

It's not really a question of "liking it or not" more an affirmation of the consistent ads placed on this forum.

That said, I haven't seen any NOVA Barca team playing anywhere nearly like an ICC team at local tournaments.

Nobody has ever claimed Barca is overflowing with talent. But, they are being trained in the same style and when Barca's teams competing against teams of a similar talent level they do in fact move the ball around and connect as the style demands. As a club they simply lack the talent to match up against higher level teams/clubs but that doesn't mean that at an appropriate level of competition the Barca teams cannot execute a similar possession style of play.

You care waaay to much about a club that you have no affiliation with that has very few teams ranked.
