What is your teen girl wearing? I’m looking to purchase a few items for teen niece. Thank you in advance.
You may also include clothing (shirts/skirts/hoodies) |
| My daughter is about to turn 14. The styles can vary greatly from kid to kid. She’d be happiest with a gift card to H&M. |

OP I've got a just turned 15 y.o. and 17 y.o. DDs, and a 14 y.o. niece. I think that unless you consult your niece or her mom, this can be super tricky.
That said, my 17 y.o. likes the combat boots look. My 15 y.o. wears basketball shoes, running shoes, crocs, and flip flops. Not sure I could get her into anything else. I did get her into a pair of my bootlets when she had to wear a dress. My 14 y.o likes fancy dress so I can imagine some sort of strappy sandals. If you want brands for the combat boots, let me know and I'll go take a look |

PP here with 17 y.o. with combat boots.
She's got Steve Madden, Troopa in black and also in brown. She has worn these every day for over a year and I've had to take them to the shoe repair place she is so in love with them. Recently she got these: Kodiak brand, Bethany mid-calf for $157 on amazon. She likes them because she says it's what the Canadian military wears or something like that (like it's not just for fashion, but seriously warm etc.) |
| My daughter loves her Doc Martens. |
My DD as well, White ones only |
|
White crocs
Vans Nike tennis shoes |
Geez, this stuff still around? it was hot when.. like in the early 90's? Oh wait.. it is doing the second round right?

Nothing can mess up your growing kid's foot like hard and stiff
sole of DR. M's.. They are too heavy and too constraining and the kid wears them way too long a day to be healthy for them. There is a reason why those are military and prison style boots. And there is a reason why those people always have a foot problems. |
| Leggings, longish shirts and Uggs or Ugg knockoffs. |
| Mine is 12 so maybe these aren’t quite right, but mine likes slip on vans, Birkenstocks, Nike Air Force One, Fila (hideous!! Lol). She also loves everything Brandy Melville. Their sizes come in “one size” which is basically small (yes it’s wrong) so better for petite. They sell it at pac sun. |
| What is her overall look? Is she a VSCO girl, goth, kardashian-jenner? Really see her for herself and then get outfitted accordingly. |
| Don’t ever buy clothes or shoes for a 14 year old. |
This. |
Disagree with this. My dad got me a hoodie when I was 13 (skater girl here). I wore it all the time and still wear it to this day! Although I'm slobbing around at home not shredding anymore. |
