Best baby girl headbands/ bow brand?

Anonymous
Boy mom here expecting her first baby girl any day! I would like to order some bow headbands but would first love recommendations on the best brand that don’t leave a mark on baby’s head ! Thanks!

They all leave a mark. I gave up.

Just don’t.

Most babies hate these. Mine did. Agree about the mark.

Why not a cute hat? That's actually practical

Never put a headband on mine when she was a baby. I ended up using them as hair ties for myself.

I had plenty from Carter’s and Target that did not leave a mark. This was for when she was young enough that they weren’t serving any purpose other than accessorizing. By the time her hair was long enough that I needed something that would actually hold some hair out of her eyes, they would not have done much and/or she would just pull them out. The ones that worked well were ones that were a flat ribbon of stretchy material (with a lightweight flower or bow) that was a little thicker than the what tights/stocking would be made of. Any that look more like the elastic band at the top of a pair of underpants will probably leave a mark.

Hard to tell online, but these might be the type of material I am thinking of: https://www.carters.com/carters-baby-girl-accessories/V_CR05545.html

This type also worked well for us:

Caveat: still pregnant.

But I ordered these and am impressed by how super-soft the headband is:

Zozu is a good brand! OP, what you’re looking for is small shops (think: Etsy) where the bows for babies without hair are sold on soft nylon headbands (literally like pantyhose material—super stretchy.) They won’t leave marks. My bald daughter wore them everyday the first year of her life without complaint and by 10 months would tap her head to ask for a bow when we were leaving the house.

Favorite shops below. Bows are usually shown on clips in the pictures but you just select headband as the finish when you add it to your cart.

That’s just straight up crazy. There is literally no need for a baby to wear this. It didn’t protect her from anything. But every day you put this on your kid. Did you think you were dressing a doll?

bows and arrows headbands are cute, but baby is not really a fan. Only worn for pics

Oh come on, the truth is babies could just wear one-piece pajamas 24/7, but plenty of parents dress them in pants and shirts and sweaters and dresses and onesies and shoes. To each their own. If baby tolerates a bow, I say have fun PP!

Protect her? The only items you put on your baby are for “protection”? Now that’s just straight up crazy.
