Really OP? Ellen is the one coming off horrible here. She flat out lied about not being invited to her party and then tried to do damage control when she was called out. Ellen is honestly gross and I fail to understand why people love her. She preaches be kind to one another but comes off as a bully.

I think Ellen really didn't remember that she got invited to Dakota's party. She probably gets a ton of invites all the time, many of which she can't possibly attend.

I really didn't see anything controversial in the interview....it was more like they had to find something to talk about and that was what they talked about. It must be hard to come up with a new angle, new material all the time. After awhile, I would think that all of the interviews sort of run together and seem the same. I think they were just trying to keep it somewhat interesting...?
