Fake teeth

How can I tell if someone has fake teeth? Why would anyone do this BTW?

As for why anyone would do this... I'm guessing you had access to dental care as a child and young adult? Or a childhood that was not filled with neglect? How lucky for you.

I have really beautiful teeth without veneers.

I haven't been able to tell who has veneers and who doesn't. I can tell dentures though.

Umm ... you mean dental implants? I have 2 fake molars because of a botched root canal that ended up in a horrific infection.

OP here, my husband and I were discussing Chris Cuomo and whether his teeth are fake or not. He likely had access to dental care when a child though.

Sometimes it's not even about that. I have 4 veneers because some hyper kid on the playground starting swinging his jacket around his head like a helicopter and hit me, cracking my two front teeth. I had good dental care, but bonding only takes you so far.

Most actors and tv personalities have fake teeth. No natural teeth are going to look as white and perfect n camera as the veneers do.

People are so insensitive. Many low-income people and immigrants didn't have access to dental care and choose to improve their smiles as adults. Some veneers look natural and others don't, there is no need to be so judgmental and nasty.

I have a friend who lost her front teeth as a teenager in a freak water slide accident.

Then there's my SIL who had to have all of her teeth pulled in her 30s because they were just bad.

Lots of reasons that people don't have their original teeth.
