Private schools should have boundaries just as public.

1. Because why not?
2. To free up homes that they don't need in the proximity to a public schools so those who need them could buy them
and live them.

YES!

It is a bit early to be that far into the wine bottle.

There are bunches of people living in the neighborhoods near good public schools who self-bus their own kids all across the county, while taking up all the good home space from other people who could truly benefit from living in the proximity.
It is kind of like taking away the resources they don't need.

Dude, by all means, if you need to wait a little to get some to see the bigger picture, go ahead. We will wait.

Who, when and why decided that public schools will have boundaries and private will not?
They share almost all other rules so why not this one? All we need is to vote? Right?
I am pretty sure more people would like to see them being "boundarized" like everyone else.
What - Democracy!!!!! When? - Now!

I love the families in my neighborhood whose kids go private. They pay their taxes and their kids don’t take up space in the local school. Their carbon footprint is way bigger so there are costs.

The rules are actually pretty different on a lot of issues. This is taking this inanity too seriously, but I don't think you would have legal authority to force private schools into boundaries. You'd probably have a good freedom of association argument against it.

OP is a nut job.

I’ll play. According to DCUM, the DCC schools can’t teach and the neighborhoods crime ridden. Obviously we must not be receiving adequate education and police services. We should pay a substantially lower tax rate regardless of actual income.

So you would HATE the other families who would move in and send their kids to private? And they would NOT pay taxes even if they would live in a 800K home? And you would hate them to send their kids to your public schools because they would crowd your precious snowflake?

So you are okay with 500 000 people driving their kids across the county each day contributing to traffic and footprint
for no apparent reason? Other then "loving them to have in your neighborhood".

Nope, You are.

Well it could be easily solved by incentivizing living closer to their private school. Carbon tax.

I don’t understand this. The catholic school my kids go to draws from probably over a dozen different elementary schools. What are you proposing?

Op, many people wouldn’t need a private school if the public schools effectively addressed learning disabilities.

Private school boundaries would be great to reduce traffic and the number of Virginia moms looking at their cell phones while driving jr. to holton, Madeira, the heights, mater dei, and bullis.

Honey, you can’t afford my house.
-down the street from a great public school, and send my kids to private.
