This is the same thing but Age guy hasn't figured it out yet. Theres just more info provided. This is for next fall when SY starts. 11v11 = U18/U19 = ≤ 8/1/2007 = ≤ Senior 11v11 = U17 = ≤ 8/1/2009 = ≤ Junior 11v11 = U16 = ≤ 8/1/2010 = ≤ Sophmore 11v11 = U15 = ≤ 8/1/2011 = ≤ Freshman 11v11 = U14 = ≤ 8/1/2012 = ≤ 8th grade 11v11 = U13 = ≤ 8/1/2013 = ≤ 7th grade 11v11 = U12 = ≤ 8/1/2014 = ≤ 6th grade 9v9 = U11 = ≤ 8/1/2015 = ≤ 5th grade 9v9 = U10 = ≤ 8/1/2016 = ≤ 4th grade 7v7 = U9 = ≤ 8/1/2017 = ≤ 3rd grade 7v7 = U8 = ≤ 8/1/2018 = ≤ 2nd grade 4v4 = U7 = ≤ 8/1/2019 = ≤ 1st grade 4v4 = U6 = ≤ 8/1/2020 = ≤ kindergarten |
You can ignore the grades part of course because they aren't part of the actual rules. They are provided as a guide. |
I get the math. In your example, you don't start with the oldest possible grade. So, you got the answer wrong. Keep studying. |
More irrelevant and wrong info is the opposite of helpful. And being too busy makes one not be able to see the official rules through the spin. |
You haven't figured out (or maybe you have) ... we're just trolling each other -- to the disappointment of the rest of DCUM. |
We no this based on clubs announcements stating playing up limited to top top players, playing up being limited in BY and playing up being limited under old SY. And ECNL and NCSL saying they want playing up limited to difference makers not just barely good enough. |
The only person trying to spin is you. Leagues allow playing up. Everything listed below 100% follows the rules. This is for next fall when SY starts. 11v11 = U18/U19 = ≤ 8/1/2007 = ≤ Senior 11v11 = U17 = ≤ 8/1/2009 = ≤ Junior 11v11 = U16 = ≤ 8/1/2010 = ≤ Sophmore 11v11 = U15 = ≤ 8/1/2011 = ≤ Freshman 11v11 = U14 = ≤ 8/1/2012 = ≤ 8th grade 11v11 = U13 = ≤ 8/1/2013 = ≤ 7th grade 11v11 = U12 = ≤ 8/1/2014 = ≤ 6th grade 9v9 = U11 = ≤ 8/1/2015 = ≤ 5th grade 9v9 = U10 = ≤ 8/1/2016 = ≤ 4th grade 7v7 = U9 = ≤ 8/1/2017 = ≤ 3rd grade 7v7 = U8 = ≤ 8/1/2018 = ≤ 2nd grade 4v4 = U7 = ≤ 8/1/2019 = ≤ 1st grade 4v4 = U6 = ≤ 8/1/2020 = ≤ kindergarten |
Only with the changes I made above ... Players CAN play up but they aren't FORCED up, meaning some and some areas like this one, many, misaligned kids will play on age. |
Especially in the DMV, no team has said they are forcing kids up an age group. |
|
This is the same as the official one but grades based on the rules have been added per August haters wish.

Until you find a rule saying a 6th grader isn't allowed to play U11, this table is just wishg casting yet again. And "= ≤" doesn't make any sense. |
"= ≤" means equal to, less or equal to 5th grade (as an example) Its mathematical / scientific notation The fact that you dont understand it says a lot. |
I confirmed before drafting. 11v11 starts at different age groups across the nation. Likely because clubs make more money with larger teams at younger ages. But thats a differnt issue. I went with what the most highly competitive clubs would do. |
≤ is the correct notation. |
Then you're not reflecting all of reality. |
