The Mueller Report

I should say, the Grand Jury and matters related to ongoing cases.

The rest should be disclosed.

Here are the 4 areas.

“First is grand jury information…The second is information that the the intelligence community believes would reveal intelligence sources and methods.

The third are information in the report that could interfere with ongoing prosecutions. You’ll recall that the special counsel did spin off a number of cases that are still being pursued. And we want to make sure that none of the information in the report would impinge upon either the ability of the prosecutors to prosecute the cases, or the fairness to the defendants.

And finally, we intend to redact information that implicated the privacy or reputational interest of peripheral players where there is a decision not to charge them.

I have a hard time understanding any objection to these.

This last one seems like it could be used selectively to protect the less than innocent.

We have something called due process. There is also something called "innocent until proven guilty."

Correct. And, given the behavior of the Democrats the past two years, they would no doubt slander the innocent, dig into their pasts, and try to find something that would be a basis for yet another subpoena. That has been their MO.

Hopefully, it won't take 2 years.

Attorney General William Barr has appointed a U.S. attorney to examine the origins of the Russia investigation and determine if intelligence collection involving the Trump campaign was “lawful and appropriate,” a person familiar with the matter told The Associated Press on Monday.

Barr appointed John Durham, the U.S. attorney in Connecticut, to conduct the inquiry, the person said. The person could not discuss the matter publicly and spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity.

Durham’s appointment comes about a month after Barr told members of Congress he believed “spying did occur” on the Trump campaign in 2016. He later said he didn’t mean anything pejorative and was gathering a team to look into the origins of the special counsel’s investigation.

He's still doing his thing. As is Horowitz.

Nice to see Putin endorse that Mueller confirmed there was no collusion (that wasn't what he investigated) and that the whole thing was fake (except for the part where Mueller specifically noted that Putin ordered the attack on the 2016 election.)

And yet, we have Trump and Pompeo glad-handing these folks.

There is a special place in hell for people who undermine our Republic.

Couldn’t agree more. Comey, McCabe, strokh, clapper, Brennan, Obama, Yates
Thanks to AG Barr you’re about to learn all about it.
