Link or it didn't happen. I am reading the Washington Post online, and I do not see this reported. #AlternativeFact |
The video that showed what I think was Heather being flung through the air has been removed from the owner of the Twitter account who posted it, but I *think* he hit her directly and she flew over the silver car that was behind the maroon minivan. |
I think you are too biased to see things as they actually were, including what was clearly a political agenda to inflame the situation. |
1) I'm a woman 2) Unlike you, I can clearly see the difference between the Nazi movement and a rag tag bunch of idiots. 3) Nazis were not right wing. Look at their stated agendas. Purely leftist. |
Forcing a parked car into a pedestrian, killing them, negates no liability on the part of the driver. Running to detain someone committing a crime and/or provide aid is instinctual for many citizens who respect law, order and humanity |
It doesn't matter for a murder charge. His intent does. His mother already told the world he went to Charlottesville on behalf of Trump. He accelerated into a crowd of innocents striking multiple people in the process. Then he fled the scene. He's toast on the murder charge. The people on the street behind him did clear out, that's why they weren't hit. |
Aided by the political left, I might add. They were organized by police to march towards each other? Who gave police that direction? |
Wait for the insults, the 'fake news' cries, the sarcastic responses and hate thrown your way. |

The bolded? Hilarious. And the true problem with the left. |
+1 Happily take on the alt-left mantle if that means I am an anti-fascist, anti-nazi patriotic American. |
Leftists - it's all about them and how they are viewed, even if the logic is a fail. The bolded? Hope you didn't, like, pay much for your education. |
OMG, I hope you are not the same poster who kept questioning the Wapo article from yesterday. "A recording that went viral captured the scene: A sedan and a minivan rolled to a stop in a road packed with activists. Suddenly, a 2010 Dodge Challenger smashed into the back of the sedan, shoving tons of metal into the crowd and launching bodies through the air. The Dodge then rapidly went into reverse, hitting more people." https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/one-dead-as-car-strikes-crowds-amid-protests-of-white-nationalist-gathering-in-charlottesville-two-police-die-in-helicopter-crash/2017/08/13/3590b3ce-8021-11e7-902a-2a9f2d808496_story.html?utm_term=.e2efd0733f58 So, did the Charger hit Heather directly or one of the other cars? Why didn't the crowd move out of the street behind the charger? |
The Nazis were the very definition of extreme right wing. Just as the Soviets. |
I believe you're correct. I think she is the woman in a green tank top who is walking behind the convertible. She's hit by the charger, flies into the air over the convertible and lands on the hood of the convertible. She was with two friends, an AA couple. The man in that couple is the AA male seen flying in the air in the viral photo wearing a white tank top, cargo shorts and red sneakers (one of which became stuck to the bumper of the charger as th driver reversed and fled). He pushed his fiancé out of the way, he luckily only suffered a broken leg. |
