Why is the media not covering ICE resistance in LA?

The Constitution does not provide for rioting you dolt.

But it does provide for peaceful protest. Not all protestors are rioters.

Is Donald going to sic US Troops, National Guard and ICE on 15 million Americans of all stripes and colors?

Well if you try to stand on your constitutional rights, you’ll be arrested. The constitution doesn’t apply anymore. Remember they are arresting democratic elected officials. They arrest members of congress performing their congressional duties.

If you speak up you will be arrested. Proud to be an American.

No. If you impede the work of federal officers you will be arrested. That is what Huerta did.

So federal officers breaking the law can now arrest anyone who questions them? Go arrest more judges and elected democrats.

It’s not for protesters to decide if a federal agent is breaking the law. That’s what we have the courts for. If you can prove a crime that is.

In the meantime, get out of the way of deportation proceedings because the law says you cannot impede a lawful arrest.

Did you qualify that on J6 too?

Yes, my comment applies to that too. Thousands of people showed up at the capitol that day but only 1500 were ultimately charged. Some were legitimate protesters and some were criminals.

Go back to Fox and push your lies. Peacefully protesting the arrest and detention without charges of American citizens is not rioting. Rioting is what you people did on Jan 6. You all got paid for that by Trump. Stop breaking the law commie!

Given the number of Latinos who voted for Trump, I am sure there are many Trumpsters protesting because they thought he was only going to deport "criminals". I feel like I am constantly hearing that line.

I think they wanted to protest after the wild fires but most stuff was burned already.

So ICE raids gave enough time for the state to more things to burn and vandalize.

It is just what they do. Does not matter if Trump dropped napalm on them, they will still find something to protest and somewhere to break and burn stuff.

Sounds like you’re from one of the red states that benefit from the $80 billion that CA sends to the federal government government each year—and which ends up supporting red states, our true “welfare queens.”

Huh?
I am from Victorville, CA.

Californians, especially LA; are literally protesting something ALL THE TIME. It just does not always make the national news.

Peaceful protest is a first amendment right. If protest results in harming people or property, then it’s wrong. But peaceful protest in itself is not unlawful, even if you personally find it distasteful.

PS. How did you feel about the “protesting” on January 6?

So there’s a group of something out there physically protesting to KEEP ILLEGAL ALIENS here?

Lol. That wouldn’t go well in any nation. Esp when the illegal aliens are unskilled, uneducated, illiterate, and only seek cash pay gigs via a sub sub contractor plus dump on the ER rooms, public schools, un-insured cars, etc.

You sound like such lovely racist.

Fellas is it racist to enforce immigration laws?

You are not enforcing any laws. You are just rounding people up and imprisoning them. People never see the inside of a courtroom. You also arrest the judges.

Nonsense. Illegal aliens have deportation orders and that judge was duly arrested for interfering in a lawful arrest. No one is above the law including that judge.

*waves Mexican flag atop burning car*:

“nooooo my constitution”

In my liberal household, we saw that and didn't think it was a good look.

The Rs are going to FAFO though because all of those business owners who love Trump are now hurting b/c no one is coming to work. They love the idea of deportation, but hate the actual consequences.

Yeah? They didn’t understand what Trump meant by mass deportation?

We are seeing plenty of rioting on the news, get real. People are on video and getting arrested for throwing objects including things on fire, lighting Waymo cars on fire, ramming a motorcycle into a line of officers, throwing a Molotov cocktail at an officer, and local businesses reported looting (6th and Broadway area, among others).

These are reported in outlets like CNN and NBC in addition to fox.

Business owners don’t like looting and our unemployment rate is at a near fifty year low.

When the LAPD declares downtown an unlawful assembly zone due to rioting, even peaceful protesters have to follow the law and leave so order can be restored.

Would you have said the same thing in regard to the people who stormed the capitol on January 6? Because it took hours to get them all out of there.

Please stop. 25,000 marched on the Capitol. Federal law enforcement did everything they could to protect all those people from charges. If only your fat a$$ king had go out of his car and walked to the capitol that day. You could have seen all those democrats congressman and Senator you hate killed on TV and Trump would have remained in power!

Why are you so anti American? How did you end up hating everything this country was founded on and stood for? What radicalized you? Why do you fanatically follow Trump when all he promises is more unrest and the destruction of this country?

Do you see the pattern? When Trump is in power the constitution is thrown out the window and the US military is fighting US citizens in the streets. I was going to say “our” but I do not believe you see it as “our” country. Why are you so opposed to law and order vs banana republic or Maoism?
