Oh, we’ll be reminding everyone. No worries. |
I am constantly refreshing twitter, searching "Senate vote". Politico is following this closely but they are still only covering highlights. There's a lot of noise on Twitter but it is still the fastest way for news to travel. |
We aren't a democracy anymore. The founders were counting on the congress and judiciary to be independent, not all be co-opted by the same elite policial forces. |
If the US has lost the race it is because the GOP, in deference to its benefactors in Saudi Arabia, Russia and Big Oil, paid them to do so. Jimmy Carter started the green revolution in response to the oil shocks of the 1970's as a strategic and moral imperative. W got it from a strategic standpoint, but not from an economic or consumer perspective. And trump tore everything down, not once, but now, twice. |
Senate is still working on it. Not passed yet. Democrats keep offering amendments and Thune doesn’t have the votes yet |
Go Democrats! Delay, delay, delay. |
Yep. After an all nighter, they don't have the votes. Will they pass it today? I wouldn't be surprised. But also, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't. |
At the moment, the Senate clearly doesn't have the votes. As far as I can tell, Paul, Tillis, Murkowski and maybe Collins are holding out? Or perhaps McConnell? Hard to say who the 4th is. |
+1 Unless she's really dumb then she can share the susan collins award for giving a vote and getting nothing (but sneered at) |
The "public" Nos are those 4. But there are other senators who haven't committed. |
Have Murkowski and Collins ever held out on any vote? They just pretend to to fool their dumb constituents. |
What are the European public traded defense companies that replaces, LMT, NOC, and RTX? |
You understand, that is googleable right? |
Why in the world did she vote yes yesterday only to say she will eventually vote no. She is unreliable. |
