Dems were in the same boat in 2017. We were asking how we became so awful that we could lose to Trump. We felt hopeless. And then Trump's 1st term played out. By the time 2020 rolled around, Dems were handed an easy POTUS election victory thanks to Trump's unpopularity. Here we are in 2025 and Dems are whining about their demise and how there is no future while at the same time Trump's popularity is tanking just like it did during his first term. The GOP will be hopeless by 2028 thanks to the Trump stain.
