This is unfortunately what a majority of North Carolinians voted for, to screw all their fellow citizens.
Ok, dimwit. By this logic we shouldn't support the wildfire victims in California because many of them supported Trump or Biden. This is the dumbest logic I've ever heard. Two awful presidents are elected and all of sudden you idiots want to stop being Americans who support their fellow Americans. Do better!!
That's not my logic. I want to have FEMA support all Americans, conservative or liberal. Trump said he wanted to decimate the "federal deep state" and get rid of FEMA, etc... That was a big part of what the election was about. And any state where Trump won voted for FEMA to be demolished and not help anyone or any state. "Blue" states aren't getting FEMA help either, and we voted for the whole country to keep it! All states are also going to get little to no help from CDC and NOAA as well as FEMA. Again, this what republicans voted to have happen.
We don't punish our fellow Americans because of their stupid voting decisions. Grow up! If we were to punish everyone who has made a poor voting decision since 2016, 99% of us would deserve punishment. Trump and MAGA will be dead soon. The people who were duped into supporting him will still be our fellow Americans.
Yes they were duped, but no, they don't yet believe they were duped. Republican voters were led to believe that all the bad things would happen only to "libs" and brown people and they lapped up every single lie they were told. Like I said before, it doesn't matter if you are conservative or liberal, or what state you live in now...FEMA is toast, mostly gone, just like Republicans in charge of project 2025 wanted. We are all.in the same boat, a boat that doesn't have a functional FEMA (disaster response), NOAA (weather systems) or CDC (public health) any more. All of us get to experience this, not just the Republican voters in red states who wanted this for others. They are getting reduced services just like the rest of us. So you are mad republicans get the same reduced government services as all other Americans? The very thing they voted to have happen to the whole country, including themselves?
Over 155 million people were duped into voting for two elderly unfit clowns in 2020. I still love all of those people as my fellow Americans and I'm not one to wish reduced services on the MAGA fools just because Trump is more awful than Biden. That isn't how things work in a loving society. Grow up!
Wow, you still don't get it. Biden might be old, but he didn't decimate services for tax paying Americans. They are not the same, and the fact that you continue to equate them is pretty sad.
There is no equating Trump and Biden. Biden was a terrible leader and an overall bottom 5 POTUS. Trump is an unhinged know-it-all who never had any business anywhere close to The White House. Biden is a mistake we aren't proud of. Trump is a nightmare we should be ashamed of. See the difference pea-brain? There is no equating but the political conversation historians will have 50, 100 years from now will start with what the hell were Americans thinking when they went Trump-Biden-Trump in three consecutive elections. Awful to any degree is still awful but if it helps you to sleep at night, yes, we all realize Trump is more awful and there is no equating.
I am not sure how anyone can type this in earnest. The guy inherited COVID and an economy in the crapper, and got the US out of it and on the path to an economy that the WSJ called the "envy of the world" all while also getting new investment in American manufacturing and infrastructure. Oh, and not a single indictment or charge of ANY wrongdoing.
At least these morons are admitting Trump is a disaster. If they need to massage their own egos by saying Biden was terrrible, well I'll take it.
