There will always be an asterisk. Just like John Marshall basketball in Richmond.

Students from outside the schools zoned living quarters have moved into or found some sort of way and are definitely playing for John Marshall’s basketball team.

Are you guys talking about a Marshall high school in Richmond? Or FCPS?

Marshall HS in Richmond, known basketball cheaters. Richmond has open HS enrollment so you just need a fake address somewhere in the city. Multiple players live in NC.

Of course cheating matters.

If Hayfield were caught cheating, there would have been some sort of disciplinary action against the program. That hasn’t happened so the slander needs to stop.

They were caught cheating, with 8+ ineligible players on their roster who they had to remove from their roster the day before their first game.

It's not slander if its factually true. I can't explain why FCPS is choosing not to discipline this cheating coach, but an absolutely enormous number of players being barred from playing the first game is just a straight up fact.

John Marshall in Richmond. They won their state championship game 89-32.

It has nothing to do with FCPS, the state would penalize the program. Their wins would not stand and they would not be eligible for any playoffs or championships, if they were caught cheating.

It’s a fact that what you are doing is slander.

Holding players out of games because they haven't met the eligibility standards is the opposite of cheating. These are the most heavily scrutinized transfers anywhere in the state in years.

Nonsense. What are they doing there practicing and trying to play on the team in the first place if they don't live in the Hayfield zone? Who told them to "transfer"?

Nope, they planned to play these kids, thought they had gotten away with it with FCPS, then got caught by VHSL.

Nope. Go back to high school or check a dictionary on that one, hon.

Who told you they even did that? Stop lying on the program. If that happened, Hayfields football team would be shut down, and they wouldn’t have any games this season.

There were ineligible players on the hayfield roster for the Dunbar scrimmage. Those players practiced all the way up to the day before the West Springfield game.

What’s Dunbar have to do with the Virginia High School League?

They are still practicing with the team! They are at the games with the team on the sidelines "not dressed". Its absurd.

1) Someone said the ineligible kids practiced earlier in the season.
2) someone asked for proof of that
3) I offered proof that they played against Dunbar (a scrimmage that is practice under VHSL rules).
