Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS)
| This whole situation makes me realize why truly great leaders use MCPS as a stepping stone (Sirgo, Dyson, Yarbrough, etc). What a mess. |
That was my thought as well. It seems like the directory is tied to their database somehow, so they have to move him from PB to somewhere, so they likely moved him to HR and left him as unassigned since he's on leave. |
We have to give you a title??!?!?!! Why? Do sex offenders get a desk in HR??? |
+1. They do this routinely when people are in a sort of limbo. |
Sexual harassment is commin in MCPS. Half of HR have neen creibky accused. |
|
Sane, decent people are about a billion times more concerned with the conduct of officialdom than with the tone on this anon board. I can’t imagine you are anything other than personally invested, PP. |
100 percent this. Donny English represents the interests of MCPS, which has an interest in this going away as quietly as possible. Don’t forget that. |
The victims need their own legal representation. I’m shocked that the Teacher’s Union is not providing that. Perhaps they should ban together for a class action lawsuit since that’s the corner MCPS is pushing them into. MCPS has had an opportunity to investigate and they failed. The lawyer interviews is just to twist what the victims say and hurt their chances if they decide to sue. It is not justice. It’s just another opportunity for MCPS to hurt the victims. |
| Remember the “MCPS independent review” of Damascus rapes? All smoke and mirrors with lots of taxpayer money wasted. Nothing of significance changed. MCPS has a history of covering up their dirty laundry instead of ending the toxic environment in schools. |
| Dr. McKnight’s video shows how little she cares about what happened to staff members who complained. She is quickly brushing aside her personal responsibility for the Central Office culture to ignore sexual harassment and bullying complaints. Complaints have appeals. She doesn’t shield herself from personal responsibility if she designates a third party to act on her behalf for appeals to the Superintendent. Same goes for the Board of Education when the complaint reaches their closed sessions. |
He doesn't have a desk at HR, he is on administrative leave. It's a database holder. |
One thing that would make this unnecessary is to fire him for cause. |
Even that is the right thing to do, there still has to be some sort of investigation that is completed before that decision is made. Until then....he needs to be in a holding pattern in the HR system.... |
+1. This school system has fallen so far. It’s giving me PG vibes. |
